Our Promise

Every coffret that leaves us is measured against the same standard. This is that standard, written down.

We promise that nothing is included to fill space. Every piece is chosen on its own merits, and a smaller coffret containing three good things will always leave us in preference to a fuller one padded with a fourth that doesn't belong.

We promise to favour naturally derived formulations and materials made to last, and to be specific rather than vague about what that means for any given piece. Where we can tell you who made something and how, we will. Where we can't, we won't imply otherwise.

We promise not to overstate. We will not describe ourselves as something we are not, claim a certification we have not earned, or attach a story to a product that doesn't have one. If a thing is simply very good, that is enough to say about it.

We promise to put things right. If a coffret arrives damaged, or something inside is not what it should be, tell us and we will replace it or refund it — whichever suits you better. We would rather hear about it than not.
