What it is
Jute and cotton, in pink. Jute is the fibre sacking and floor rugs are made from — open, dry to the touch, and nothing like a woven synthetic. Cotton is the softer of the two, and between them that is the whole material list.
It is a texture worth leaving out rather than shutting away. Cotton wool, a hairbrush and the bottles that do not match each other go in, and the shelf reads as tidy instead of staged. A plastic caddy does not manage that.
From Ancient Wisdom. The pink is in the photograph rather than in the description, which is the more honest way round.
Given as a present it does not go in the bin with the paper. It moves to a dressing table, or into a weekend bag, or holds the small things beside a sink.
