Every product on this page costs £25 or less. Not a starting price, not the small size of something larger — the figure you pay for the thing shown.
Orders start at £20 — smaller pieces travel with company.
Delivery is free on every order, whatever is in it.
We are not going to suggest you add something to reach the line. It is a threshold, not a lever, and it is better read here than discovered at checkout.
Bath and body
Sea salt and pure essential oils by the bagful, a paper-wrapped bar that lasts weeks, and a cotton pillow of wheat and lavender for the eyes.
All of it from UK wholesale and makers already selling on the GB market, which is the rule for anything that touches skin. The full shelf is Petalby Spa.
What £25 buys here
One properly made thing.
The temptation at this price is to make a gift look generous by counting the items in it. We would rather send one 190g bar of soap made in East Sussex than four sachets of something. Every piece here is sold as a product in its own right, not as a taster for something else.
The sections below run across every department, so the same budget can come from any shelf that holds stock.
Mystery under £25
Two compositions land below the line. The Pocket is the smallest of the four and says what it holds — an oil burner, wax melts, bath salts, a cleansing bar and more. No mystery in that one. The Bud is a handful of pieces in the signature ivory vessel, chosen against each other and unrevealed until it is opened.
How the format works, and where it is the wrong idea, is set out on the Curated Collections page.
Made by hand
The kits — hoops that finish in an evening, felting that becomes a fox about 15cm tall, a full-size hare in a 7in hoop that doubles as its frame — are on the shelf in Petalby Crafts, and several sit under £25. They arrive with the threads counted and the design already printed on the cloth.
What is on the shelf today is in Petalby Crafts. The needle felting kits are marked ages 14 and over.
Desk and shelf
A dark stoneware mug where the moon appears as the tea goes in and wanes as it cools, a tape dispenser in heavy rubber shaped like a cassette, and a gloss globe that turns itself once every fourteen seconds on a single AA.
Design-led rather than gadget-led, and all from named makers bought on the UK market. The rest is in Petalby Tech.
Outside
A wearable oak twine cutter that clips to an apron for one-handed tying, a polished stainless dibber, and a deep-dished trowel with a ten-year guarantee. Small tools that survive being left out in October.
Petalby Garden never sells plants or seeds — only the tools and the things that hold them.
For the dog or the cat
A Liberty print key fob for the person holding the lead, a stretch cotton collar sized for a cat, and a soft ticking collar handmade in England with a metal buckle. One of the three is for the human, which is usually the trick with pet gifts.
Nothing here is eaten. Petalby Pets keeps to accessories, beds and toys until feed registration exists.
For the kitchen table
Wooden games that fold flat and store on a shelf: bingo on a 28cm board, four in a row in a standing frame, and the old pub game with animals in place of numbers.
All UK-market stock with the safety marking and age labelling still on the box, in Petalby Play. Nothing on that shelf is graded under three years.
If the budget can stretch
Gifts under £50 covers the band where a present becomes an object someone keeps, and everything there clears the £20 order minimum on its own.
Birthday gifts sorts the same stock by how well you know the person, gifts for her sorts it by habit, and every Curated Collection sits on the shop page.
A line we do not move
Under £25, and honestly under it
