What it is
Stoneware, glazed dark, with a moon that appears when you pour something hot in and wanes again as the mug cools. The whole lunar cycle runs over the length of one drink, which is either a neat piece of chemistry or an excuse to take your time.
The heat of the drink is the only thing driving it — nothing to charge and nothing to switch on. Three hundred and thirty-four grams of dense stoneware, so it holds its heat longer than a thin porcelain cup and feels like something in the hand.
