What it is
A key fob in genuine Liberty Art Fabrics cotton, a hundred millimetres long and twenty wide, on a metal ring. Small, and the sort of small thing that turns up in a coat pocket in the dark and tells you which keys you are holding.
The print is Betsy Star. The same nylon core that runs through the collars runs through this one, inside the cloth, and it is handmade in England by the same sewing team that makes them.
It is here because it is what the dog walker gets, rather than the dog. That makes it the thing to add to a collar or a lead when the present is really for the person holding the other end. A thank-you for a neighbour who walks yours, or a small thing on its own for someone who has just brought a dog home.
