What it is
Bluebell and jasmine, which sounds like a garden in May and more or less smells like one — green underneath, floral over the top, never syrupy. It is one of the better-looking things on the shelf, and the wrap tends to stay half on because of it.
A 240 gram bar of pure vegetable oils with shea butter, so the lather stays soft. Wrapped in a Kew botanical illustration and nothing plastic. Made in East Sussex by The English Soap Company under the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew collection.
At 240 grams this is the largest bar we carry from this maker, and large enough to last a bathroom a good while. The wrap is paper, so it goes into the recycling whole.
It suits a spring birthday, a housewarming in a flat with one small bathroom, or the person who buys flowers for themselves. We use it in compositions that need something green rather than sweet. There is a matching eau de toilette in the same scent, if one bar is not enough.
