What it is
Five hundred millilitres in a bottle made from recycled plastic, which is a sensible answer to the one part of a bathroom that genuinely gets used up. Lavender and rosemary in the scent, the same pairing as the soap, the hand cream and the body oil.
Aloe vera and vitamin E in the formula. Made in East Sussex by The English Soap Company under the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew collection. A large bottle that sits well by a basin and does not need decanting into something nicer.
It lasts months, which is the whole argument for buying a good one.
It suits a kitchen sink as readily as a bathroom, and it is the piece we add when a composition needs something that will still be in use in November. Of the four pieces in this scent, it is the one that actually runs out, which is the argument for the larger bottle.
