What it is
One bottle for hands at the basin and shoulders in the shower, which saves a shelf. Ocean seaweed: green and mineral rather than floral, and unshowy with it.
Five hundred millilitres with aloe vera and vitamin E. The bottle is recycled plastic rather than glass, which is the sensible choice for a wet floor. Made on a farm in East Sussex by The English Soap Company, as part of its Anniversary collection.
It is the sort of thing people quietly reorder: one bottle doing two jobs, nothing to decant, and no decision to make at the basin. Good for anyone whose bathroom is already crowded, and for a composition that needs something a man will actually finish.
It suits a shared bathroom, a downstairs loo, or the person who has never once bought themselves a decent hand wash. Not a surprising gift, and not meant to be — it is the one that gets finished.
