What it is
Seed heads, leaves and stems in a muted woodland palette, pre-printed onto cotton so the composition is settled before you thread a needle. It is the kit for someone who would rather stitch plants than animals, and it sits on a wall beside almost anything.
A seven-inch wooden hoop, DMC stranded cotton, a needle, an illustrated guide to embroidery and a stitch and colour chart, all in a gift box. Pre-printed means there is nothing to trace and no transfer paper to buy. The hoop is the frame; nothing needs mounting afterwards.
Designed and packed by hand in rural Dorset.
Botanicals sit more quietly on a wall than an animal design, which is the practical case for this one. Boxed as it comes, so it can be given without wrapping.
For a housewarming, or for someone whose walls are already full of prints and could do with one thing made by hand.
