What it is

A ten-millilitre rollerball of lavender, Roman chamomile and orange blossom in a wheatgerm oil base — Agnes + Cat's Sleep blend, made in the UK from essential oils rather than approximations of them. Roll it over pulse points at the end of the day; the wrists carry the scent up for you. It is a scent, not a solution, and it does not pretend otherwise.

Ten millilitres is the size that lives in a bedside drawer or an overnight bag rather than a bathroom cabinet. The base is wheatgerm oil, so it goes on as an oil rather than a spray and stays where it is put. Sleep is the name of the blend, and the name is where the claim stops.

For someone with a long commute, a hotel week ahead, or a bedside table already crowded with better intentions. It asks nothing of a routine except a moment and a wrist. Small enough for the bag, quiet enough for every night.
