What it is
Lavender and rosemary through a body oil — herbal, dry, and quiet enough for a bedroom rather than a bathroom. It is the heaviest single piece we carry from this maker, and the one that makes a composition feel finished.
A hundred millilitres in a glass bottle, built on safflower and apricot kernel oils with vitamins A and E. Made in East Sussex by The English Soap Company under the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew collection.
Two or three pumps into damp skin after a bath, or into shoulders at the end of a week. Oil spreads further on skin that is still warm and slightly wet, so the order matters rather more than the amount. Store it out of direct sun, the way you would any oil.
It suits someone who already owns the soap and the hand cream and would not think to buy this for themselves. There is a hand wash in the same lavender and rosemary too, if a whole basin is being kitted out.
