What it is
A tower of small wooden bears held up by rings, a die to tell you which colour to pull, and the nerve to take one from near the bottom. It falls over eventually. That is rather the point, and the noise it makes on a wooden floor is half the game.
The die gives a colour rather than a number, so a child who can match one colour to another takes a full turn without help. Nobody has to read anything to play it. It rebuilds in about a minute, which is the other half of the game.
Forty centimetres tall while it is still standing, made by Bigjigs from FSC-certified wood with a non-toxic painted finish. For three years and over.
A game for a child and whichever adult is prepared to lose, and one of the few that improves with an audience. Best played on a hard floor, for the noise. It is the one to bring out when the afternoon has gone flat and the room needs something to do together.
