What it is
English lavender as a wearable scent rather than a bathroom one — aromatic and dry, with none of the sweetness usually added to make lavender palatable.
A hundred millilitres of eau de toilette in a glass bottle. Made on a farm in East Sussex by The English Soap Company, under the same Heritage name the soaps carry.
Eau de toilette is a lighter concentration than perfume, made to be topped up through the day rather than worn from one press in the morning. Fragrance keeps best away from direct sun and a warm windowsill.
It suits someone who has worn the same thing for years and is not looking to be surprised, which is a harder brief than it sounds. There is a matching Heritage lavender soap and candle if more than one thing is going in the box, and we will usually say so.

Every order is packed by hand. Just the items, simply wrapped is how it travels unless you say otherwise, and it costs nothing. A presentation level dresses it for giving — one for the whole order, chosen in your basket.
