What it is
An apothecary bottle with a cork stopper and a pink heart of LED filament suspended inside it, glowing steadily rather than flickering. It is an object before it is a light, which is why it keeps working long after the occasion that prompted it.
Soda-lime glass, 135 millimetres tall, and heavy enough at the base to stay where it is put. Charging is by micro-USB: about an hour and a half in for roughly six hours of light out. No flame, no wax, and nothing to replace between charges.
