What it is
Grape seed oil blended in Sheffield with essential oils, in a 100ml amber glass bottle that behaves like two products. It is a proper massage oil, and — a few drops in running water — a bath oil that leaves skin softer than it found it. One bottle doing two jobs, which is rarer on a bathroom shelf than it ought to be.
One hundred millilitres, in amber glass rather than plastic. Grape seed is the carrier; the essential oils are blended into it in Sheffield. Amber glass keeps the light out, which is what an oil wants, and it looks like something rather than a sample.
Eighteen blends, named by the maker — sleepy lavender, muscle ease and plain relaxation among them — so the choosing is part of the gift. Massage is one of the four quiet pillars of our wellness shelf, and this is its cornerstone.
For someone who works at a desk all day, or for the person who would rather keep one good bottle than three half-used ones. Warm a little in the palms first, as you would with any oil.
