What it is
A tote in recycled cotton and recycled plastic bottles, printed with an illustration the maker drew rather than bought in. Flat, plain-handled, and the right size for a market run or a change of shoes.
We list it as an object rather than a bath thing. It is what turns three loose items into something that arrives looking considered — a bag the pieces go into, and a bag that stays useful once they are out of it.
Made for The English Soap Company, a soap maker in East Sussex, and sturdy enough to be kept.
It suits the person who already has a drawer of bags and still ends up carrying shopping in their arms, and anyone who walks to the shops rather than drives. As a gift on its own it is a small thing. As the wrapping on a larger one, it is the difference between a parcel and a present.
