What it is
A mini hairbrush from SalonPro Beauty, scaled to slip into a handbag, gym bag or desk drawer. The body is a warm coral with a rounded handle, the SalonPro wordmark running down it in pale blush. Small, plain, and made for a bag rather than a shelf. The oval head holds a black cushion pad, vented by a small air hole and textured with a fine cross-hatch. It is set with rows of slim pin bristles finishing in rounded pink tips. A cushion pad is the sprung kind of base, and the air hole is what lets it give and spring back. £4. For someone who keeps a second brush at work, or in the car, or in the bag that goes to the gym — the one that means never arriving anywhere unbrushed. It is a stocking piece, a small addition to a larger box, or the useful half of a pair.
