What it is

Navy and a softer blue-grey woven together, so the cloth reads as one colour from the doorway and two from the sofa. Midnight and dusk is a fair description: it is the sky in the twenty minutes when it cannot decide.

Wool, woven in the UK, substantial without being stiff. The two blues are woven in rather than printed on, which is why the cloth shifts as it is folded and as the light moves across it. Designed in Bristol, and one of the few throws that looks as good folded as it does thrown.

Wool is warm for its weight, so a blanket this substantial does real work in a cold room without pinning anyone to the sofa. Navy and blue-grey are quiet colours to live with, and they do not ask the rest of the room to agree with them.

For a sitting room that gets cold at the far end, a bed made up for guests, or a housewarming where you do not yet know the colours.

A small parcel tied with twine and a blank card on an oak table.

Our promise

Every piece here is chosen on its own merits by a person who has handled the alternatives and set most of them aside. Some of what we sell we make ourselves; the rest is made by other people and chosen by us, and we say which is which.

If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we replace it or refund it, and we pay the return postage. Our Promise, written down.

No reviews are shown on this page yet. Ours come only from verified orders and are published as written, from the first one we approve. How reviews work.
