Orders start at £20, so this one travels with company. Anything from £14 takes it past the line, or The Bud stands on its own.

What it is

Four fifty-gram steamers pressed in Sheffield with grapefruit, bergamot and rosemary oils, finished with rosemary seeds. The scent is bright rather than sweet — closer to a citrus grove than a sweetshop. Set one at your feet in the morning shower and the steam does the waking for you.

Four to a box, fifty grams apiece, each wrapped on its own so the box keeps until you need it. Pressed in Sheffield, and vegan, SLS and SLES free. Four is enough that the first one need not be saved for a special occasion.

A steamer is the shower's answer to a bath soak: it goes on the floor and works through the steam rather than on the skin. Grapefruit and bergamot are the citrus half and rosemary is the green one, with rosemary seeds finishing them.

For a flat with a shower and no bath, for the first ten minutes of a working day, or for someone who would like the morning to start with something other than a screen. Four in the box, and no bath required.

A small parcel tied with twine and a blank card on an oak table.

Our promise

Every piece here is chosen on its own merits by a person who has handled the alternatives and set most of them aside. Some of what we sell we make ourselves; the rest is made by other people and chosen by us, and we say which is which.

If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we replace it or refund it, and we pay the return postage. Our Promise, written down.

Not sure this is the one? The Bud is composed by hand around pieces like it, and the contents stay a secret until it is opened.

No reviews are shown on this page yet. Ours come only from verified orders and are published as written, from the first one we approve. How reviews work.
