Birdcare
4 pieces in stock
Two clay feeding balls, a nesting box woven from seagrass and a galvanised tin to store the seed. Both Birdballs are slipcast clay on stainless wire, and a tree protector comes with each.
The smaller takes fat balls, fruit or kitchen scraps behind an opening that admits tits, sparrows, nuthatches and finches and defeats the pigeons and the squirrels.
The larger is filled with seed and is frost-free, so it can stay out through the winter. The seagrass box hangs from a rope with bamboo tubes strung beneath, and they knock quietly rather than jangle. The tin is galvanised steel with a scoop already inside, and it keeps out the mice and the damp.
Garden tools and gloves are for the gardener. This shelf is for what visits.
