What it is

A stapler carved into an elephant, standing upright on the desk with its trunk down, in solid beech and mild steel. It does the ordinary thing staplers do, with rather more presence than the plastic one it replaces.

The small size takes No.10 mini staples and measures 87 by 70 by 53 millimetres, which makes it a desk object rather than an office-supply one. Solid beech, sustainably sourced, and mild steel, with no plastic body to crack. It comes in kraft packaging, which makes it an easy thing to give without much wrapping.

From Suck UK.

For someone setting up a first desk, or for the person in the house who still prints things out and staples them together. It is a small correction to an ordinary object, and the sort of thing that stays out on the desk rather than going in the drawer.

A small parcel tied with twine and a blank card on an oak table.

Our promise

Every piece here is chosen on its own merits by a person who has handled the alternatives and set most of them aside. Some of what we sell we make ourselves; the rest is made by other people and chosen by us, and we say which is which.

If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, we replace it or refund it, and we pay the return postage. Our Promise, written down.

Not sure this is the one? The Bloom is composed by hand around pieces like it, and the contents stay a secret until it is opened. If you would rather browse than decide, Gifts for him is where this one sits.
