Lights & Desk Objects
23 pieces in stock
Filament bulbs with no lamp to screw into, corks that turn an emptied bottle into a lamp, a porcelain chamberstick with an LED where the candle used to be, and a solar jar that comes on once the light goes.
Every piece in Lights & Desk Objects
Orders start at £20 — smaller pieces travel with company.
Every piece here is Suck UK.
Then the desk: a stapler carved into an elephant, a tape dispenser shaped like a cassette, a pencil pot that sharpens, and a globe that turns itself. A stoneware mug shows the moon when you pour something hot, and an umbrella comes up in colour when it rains. A cassette-shaped card records up to two minutes and posts as a letter.
The filament bulbs are borosilicate glass, and most are too large for a mains fitting by design. An hour and a half on a cable gives them about six hours of light. The chamberstick runs twelve hours from about an hour of charge, and the solar jar charges itself on a windowsill.
